Pianist Lang Lang, scheduled to perform on September 28, 2017 as part of the Distinguished Artists Series, has regrettably canceled this recital under his doctor’s recommendation due to inflammation in his left arm. Current ticket holders will be contacted.
Beloved by Seattle audiences, pianist Marc-André Hamelin will perform a solo piano recital on September 28 with works by Liszt, Feinberg, Debussy and Godowsky. Hamelin most recently performed on the Distinguished Artists Series in April 2016 and was a soloist with the orchestra in April 2015 when audiences “just wouldn’t let him leave”
